Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how payments work when you shop at Ruby Rebel. Ruby Rebel is operated by Gains Promotion. Our full business details are set out in our Legal Notice.

1. Secure Payments

Our store runs on Shopify, and all payments are processed through Shopify Payments. Every page of our website, including checkout, is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

Card details are transmitted directly to our payment processor using industry-standard encryption. Ruby Rebel never sees, handles, or stores your full card number, expiry date, or security code.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

At checkout you can pay by credit or debit card, including:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Maestro

You can also pay using the following digital wallets:

  • Shop Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

The payment methods available to you are always shown at checkout before you pay. We do not accept cash, checks, bank transfers, or cash on delivery.

3. Currency

We sell in two markets, each with its own currency:

  • United States — prices are shown and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD).
  • Australia — prices are shown and charged in Australian Dollars (AUD).

The currency that applies to you is shown throughout the store and again at checkout before you pay, and you can switch country at the bottom of any page. If your card or bank account is held in a different currency from the one you are charged in, your bank or card issuer will apply its own exchange rate and may charge a foreign transaction fee. Those charges come from your bank, not from Ruby Rebel.

4. When You Are Charged

Your payment is authorized and captured when you place your order. You will receive an order confirmation email once payment has been successfully processed.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable or if a pricing error has occurred. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full to your original payment method.

5. What You Pay

The price shown on the product page is the price you pay for that item. Shipping is free on every order to both the United States and Australia, with no minimum spend. Any applicable sales tax is calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.

There are no hidden fees, handling charges, or surcharges. Shipping Protection is an optional extra that is only added if you choose it yourself. The total shown at checkout is the total amount that will be charged to your payment method. For full shipping details, see our Shipping Policy.

6. Payment Problems

If your payment is declined, please check that your card details, billing address, and expiry date are correct, and that your card is authorized for online and international purchases. If the problem continues, contact your bank or card issuer first, as we do not receive the reason a payment was declined.

If you were charged but did not receive an order confirmation, email us at contact@ruby-rebel.com with the date and amount, and we will investigate.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the order. We cannot refund to a different card or account. For return eligibility and refund timescales, please review our Return & Refund Policy.
